On Feb. 28, the University of Florida’s Office of Internal Audit received a letter from Huntley Johnson making allegations about General Counsel Jamie Lewis Keith. UF’s Chief Auditor began an internal investigation at that time, and as such, we are unable to discuss the specifics of the allegations. 

The university, through its Office of Internal Audit, is committed to conducting a thorough and independent investigation.

 UF and Ms. Keith agreed Wednesday she would take time off from work during the investigation to avoid even the appearance of a conflict.

Because of the ongoing investigation, we cannot discuss the matter further.
