Dear Friends,

As we begin reading days and final exams, I want to thank everyone for a truly excellent academic year. I applaud our students for successfully completing the year and offer my heartfelt congratulations to the 9,964 students graduating next weekend. Many thanks to UF faculty and staff for your accomplishments, and my appreciation to all for overcoming for another year the challenges of the pandemic.

If you are moving on to new opportunities, I ask you to please stay in touch. If you plan to be here on the Gainesville campus this summer, I look forward to seeing you. If you expect to be away, I wish you safe travels and look forward to welcoming you back in the fall. My very best wishes to everyone in the UF community for a refreshing and renewing summer.
