Dear UF community,
 
I am pleased to announce that the inauguration of President Ben Sasse has been scheduled for Nov. 2, 2023. Please save the date for public events marking his installation as the university’s 13th president.

As President Sasse completes the sixth month of his tenure, he is already challenging us to think even more ambitiously about how to build on UF’s momentum as a top national university in fast-changing times — and I can’t wait to join the campus community in officially celebrating the launch of his presidency. 

An Inauguration Steering Committee will be announced soon, with further details to follow. We look forward to a historic and joyous campus-wide celebration of UF’s new president.
