Dear campus community,

As we look forward to the fall semester, I want to remind everyone about the university’s approach to protests and the use of university space.

Here at the University of Florida, we have two foundational commitments: first, we support everyone’s constitutional right to express themselves; second, we expect that everyone will exercise these rights while following the laws of Florida and the policies of our university.

By accepting the responsibilities that come with our rights, we can ensure that everyone has the opportunity to be successful.
