UF is committed to fostering an environment that is safe, secure, and free from sexual harassment. In light of this commitment and in order to ensure compliance with the requirements of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, as amended in 2020 ("Title IX"), UF has adopted a new Title IX Policy. The new Title IX policy is effective today, July 1, 2025.
A key change in the new Title IX policy is that all employees are required to promptly report any suspected sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, or stalking to the Title IX Office. Reports can be made using any of the following methods:
To familiarize yourself with the new Title IX policy, please visit the UF Regulation and Policy Hub. The Title IX Office has also released a Title IX Training for UF Employees, which aims to assist employees in fully understanding the new Title IX policy and its reporting requirements in less than 30 minutes. Employees will be notified by email of the completion deadline for this mandatory training.
Finally, in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act ("Clery Act"), the 2024 Annual Security Report has been updated to include the new Title IX policy.
